Acne can be a very embarrassing thing to experience. It affects people of all ages, but mostly affects children just starting puberty and young adults whose hormones haven’t settled down yet.
Many times you can change your acne issues by using home remedies for acne.
It is better to choose an acne home remedy. You will need to seek medical advice of a dermatologist first to see if it is a more serious problem than simple acne. You can be sure that homemade treatments you’re using would certainly be effective on your skin this way.
Drinking lots of water is the best home remedy for acne. Water will aid your body in clearing out toxins and damaging byproducts out of your system because water is a natural detoxifier. The recommended daily allowance of water should be eight 8 oz. glasses of water per day. You should also drink fruit juices as they are helpful as well.
One of the effective home remedies for acne is using tea tree oil. It essentially has the needed properties to kill bacteria that can cause acne. The substance can be very powerful so make sure to use the right proportion of tea tree oil. Your solution should contain just 5% tea tree oil mixed with an 8 oz. glass of water.
Be sure to eat your daily allowance of fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid spicy foods and oily foods as much as possible. These foods only stimulate your sebaceous glands to secrete more sebum oil. Eat fruits and vegetables that are rich in both Vitamin A and zinc.
These home remedies will help you with the problem of acne. Be sure to seek the advice of a trained professional in case there is something more serious going on that could lead to scaring and other skin issues.
